Our story began when brothers Robert and Larry Hauger combined their automotive education, technical skills, and passion for serving others to establish a business that local drivers could depend on. Their vision was simple: provide reliable automotive services at fair prices while building lasting relationships with customers throughout the area. As the business earned the trust of the community, it expanded beyond collision repair to include automotive repairs, towing services, and additional offerings to better meet the needs of local drivers.
Following Larry's tragic loss in 1998, Robert continued leading the business while remaining committed to the principles that had shaped it from the beginning. In the early 2000s, with the support of his son Dustin, the company evolved into Hauger's Automotive Services, reflecting its expanded range of services and long-term vision for the future. Today, that family tradition continues, with Dustin preparing to carry the business forward for the next generation of customers.
Robert's dedication to the automotive industry began long before the business opened. After graduating from Shanksville-Stonycreek High School, he continued his education at a vocational technical school in Johnstown, where he developed the skills that would become the foundation of his career. As an ASE Master Automotive Technician, he has spent years combining technical expertise with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
